1% tax for the FWD: foundation
A few words about the gallery from the heart.
Due to unfavorable circumstances on the visited planet Earth, the gallery temporarily became an ethereal existence, without any premises. However, the lack of a physical structure does not prevent us from creating experimental activities and making plans for a favorable to art future.
In gloomy 2020, we managed to become a Public Benefit Organization, which we perceive as a spark of happiness in these difficult times. From now on, our Foundation can apply for funds from 1% of citizens' tax. Thanks to this, the haters who accuse us of "wasting the taxpayer's money" will finally be right, because so far we have financed our activities rather modestly and from a private pocket.
Our five-year activity and over 30 artistic events would not exist if not all the artists who favor us, who accepted our invitations to subsequent exhibitions on a pro bono basis. We would not be here if it were not for our guests who visited our modest space and provided kind words or constructive comments. We are extremely grateful for such a relational reality and we cannot believe our luck in cooperation with our idols, who are the artists we invite. Thanks to these circumstances, we also managed to modestly appear in academic education - our gallery was a place for student theoretical plein-airs, some of our projects were discussed at lectures, and we also held apprenticeships.
We sincerely hope to continue this trend, we also dream about a small development and a bit more capital opportunities to create new exhibitions for our beloved visitors and followers. These plans can be realized thanks to your support!
We are aware that there will always be a more important goal than supporting a small, off-site contemporary art gallery, so we will be obliged for every donated 1% of the tax to us. We ensure that 1% for FWD: will be turned into 100% contemporary art, we do exhibitions well and cheap!
